The Brand to Look Out For: ASTR The Label

When ASTR The Label reached out to me and asked if I would style a few of their pieces from the 2017 Resort Collection, I was over the moon!  They are a brand I have followed on social media for so long and I feel so honored they wanted to work with me.  The entire collection is absolutely stunning and I will definitely be seen wearing these items on my upcoming beach vacation!  As exciting as it was getting to put together looks with pieces from the resort collection, a part of me was completely freaking out considering the temperatures in Cleveland have been in the low 20s; definitely not resort-like.  Next thing I knew, I was shooting photos in nippy 22 degree weather wearing an off the shoulder top and sandals (I'm getting goosebumps just thinking of it).  

The first piece is the Maren top, shown below, that I paired with a tribal inspired midi skirt (from H&M, no longer available) and paired with my (knockoff Isabel Marant ;) ) studded block heel sandals.  Super easy to put together and perfect for a summer night out.  I sometimes find myself shying away from prints because, let's admit it, they can be scary.  I've learned that the secret to wearing multiple prints is pairing your big, loud prints with smaller ones to create a perfect balance.

Next is the Amelia top, paired with my DIY uneven hem denim, wide brim fedora (no longer available), and flatform sandals.  Unlike most off the shoulder tops, this one actually stays in place when you lift your arms up which is a MAJOR plus.  All of my fellow OTS top lovers can feel me on this one.  Love, love, love, love, love this top and cannot wait to rock it this spring and summer.  

Although I felt like I was going to lose all my toes during this shoot, I could not be more grateful for ASTR The Label and this opportunity!
